Terms of Service

1. What This Service Is

MyMiracles is a free, faith-based platform where people share prayer requests, praise reports, and miracle testimonies on a public prayer wall. It is offered as a ministry of PrayersOutreach with no commercial purpose.

2. Who May Use This Service

You must be at least 13 years old to submit content. By submitting, you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

This service is available to individuals only. Submissions on behalf of organizations, businesses, or automated systems are prohibited without prior written permission from PrayersOutreach.

3. Accepting These Terms

By checking the consent checkbox on the Inscribe form and submitting your prayer, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree to all three, please do not submit.

4. License Grant — What You Give Us

When you submit a prayer, praise report, or testimony, you grant PrayersOutreach a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and publish your submission text on mymiracles.org and related PrayersOutreach ministry platforms and communications.

You retain the underlying rights to your words. However, because published prayers become part of a community wall shared with others for prayer and encouragement, this license cannot be revoked once your prayer is published. You may request removal at any time (see Section 8), but we cannot guarantee your prayer text has not been seen, shared, or printed by others.

By submitting, you represent that your submission is your own original expression and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. The Content Review Process

Every submission passes through a multi-layered review pipeline before it may be published:

1. Blocked Terms Filter — checks against an admin-maintained list of prohibited words and phrases.
2. AI Safety Classification (Llama Guard 3) — automatically screens for harmful content across 13 categories defined by the MLCommons safety taxonomy.
3. AI Content Review — a secondary language model verifies the submission is a genuine prayer or testimony and has not been crafted to manipulate the review process.
4. Human Moderation — submissions that are uncertain, sensitive, or flagged by AI are reviewed by trained volunteer moderators or senior staff.

We aim to review flagged submissions within 72 hours, but make no guarantee of timing.

6. No Guarantee of Publication

Submitting a prayer does not guarantee it will be published. We reserve the right to reject any submission that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, is off-topic, is submitted in bad faith, or is otherwise inappropriate in our sole discretion. We do not provide individual explanations for rejection decisions.

7. Moderation Decisions Are Final

Our moderation team applies the guidelines in our Acceptable Use Policy as consistently as possible, but all decisions are ultimately made at PrayersOutreach's discretion. If you believe a submission was rejected in error, you may submit an appeal to appeals@prayersoutreach.org. We review all appeals within 7 business days.

8. Requesting Removal of a Published Prayer

If you wish to have your published prayer removed from the wall, send a request to legal@prayersoutreach.org describing the prayer and the approximate date it was submitted. We will process removal requests within 7 business days. Note that removal takes the prayer off the public wall but does not affect copies others may have made.

9. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the content restrictions in our Acceptable Use Policy, you may not:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit prayers
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or circumvent our security systems
• Submit content on behalf of another person without their knowledge and consent
• Attempt to manipulate the AI moderation pipeline through crafted instructions or obfuscated text
• Submit the same or substantially similar prayer repeatedly to circumvent rate limits
• Use this service for any commercial purpose

10. Technical Data and Privacy

Your use of this service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes in full what technical information is collected, how it is used, and when it is deleted. In summary: all personally identifying technical data (IP address, user agent, browser fingerprint) is deleted immediately upon approval of your submission, and within 30 days if your submission is rejected.

11. Crisis Content and Pastoral Care

If your submission involves thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or a personal crisis, it will be automatically routed to our senior pastoral staff for careful, compassionate review. We take these submissions seriously. If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis line:

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

This service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. PrayersOutreach does not guarantee that submissions will be reviewed, published, or retained for any particular period of time.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PrayersOutreach, its directors, staff, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use this service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed by direct communication with PrayersOutreach at legal@prayersoutreach.org before initiating any external legal process.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
