Privacy Policy

MyMiracles is a prayer wall operated by PrayersOutreach. When you inscribe a prayer, we collect a small amount of technical information to keep the platform safe and prevent abuse. This policy tells you exactly what we collect, why, and how long we keep it — in plain language.

What We Collect When You Submit

When you use the Inscribe form, we temporarily collect:

Your prayer text To review and, if approved, publish it on the wall Published text is kept indefinitely; removed on request

Your IP address (raw) Abuse prevention, spam detection, and legal compliance Deleted immediately upon approval. Held up to 30 days if rejected, then auto-deleted.

Your browser user agent Device identification for spam and bot detection Same as IP address above

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information. No account is required to submit.

How Your Prayer Is Reviewed

Before a human moderator ever sees your submission, it passes through two layers of automated review — both hosted entirely within Cloudflare's infrastructure:

Blocked Terms Filter — an admin-maintained list of words and phrases that trigger immediate routing based on content type.
Llama Guard 3 8B — a Meta AI safety classifier that screens for 13 categories of harmful content, including violent threats, hate speech, sexual content, and illegal material.
Secondary LLM Review — a general-purpose language model that verifies your submission is a genuine prayer, praise report, or testimony — not spam or an attempt to manipulate the moderation process.

Your prayer text is processed within Cloudflare's systems and is not shared with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other external AI provider.

What Happens After Review

If approved: Your IP address, user agent, and browser fingerprint are permanently deleted from our database at the moment of approval. Only your prayer text and the publication date are retained in the public record.

If rejected: Your submission — including IP address and device information — is held for up to 30 days to support any abuse investigation or legal process, then automatically and permanently deleted by our nightly cleanup process.

If escalated to admin review: Treated the same as rejected until a final decision is made by a senior staff member.

Rate Limiting

To prevent spam, we track a one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address in Cloudflare's key-value storage. This hash cannot mathematically be reversed to your real IP address. It is used only to count submissions and expires automatically after the block window (default 24 hours).

What We Do Not Collect

No email addresses from prayer submitters
No social media accounts or profiles
No payment information of any kind
No browsing history or cross-site tracking
No advertising networks, analytics pixels, or tracking cookies
No accounts or login credentials for public submitters

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate MyMiracles:

Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1, KV, Queues, Workers AI, Turnstile) — hosting, database storage, rate limiting, bot detection, and AI processing. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

Your Prayer Text — License and Removal

By submitting a prayer, you grant PrayersOutreach a license to display your prayer text on mymiracles.org. See our Terms of Service for the full license terms.

If you wish to have a published prayer removed from the wall, contact us at privacy@prayersoutreach.org with a description of the prayer and the approximate date submitted. We will process removal requests within 7 business days.

Children's Privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted content, contact privacy@prayersoutreach.org immediately so we can remove it.

International Users — GDPR & CCPA

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights regarding your personal data. Because we delete all personally identifying information upon approval — and within 30 days of rejection — most personal data associated with your submission is already deleted before any request would be received.

The only data that remains after approval is your prayer text, which contains no identifying information that we collected. If you wish to exercise your right to access, correct, or delete your data, contact privacy@prayersoutreach.org. We will respond within 30 days.

Our legal basis for processing personal data during the submission window is legitimate interest (abuse prevention and security) and consent (your agreement at submission time to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy).

Security

All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's global edge network, which provides additional DDoS protection, bot management, and security monitoring. Access to raw submission data, including IP addresses, is restricted to authorized moderation staff with role-based permissions and a full audit trail of all actions.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted in the page body.
